My typical day at work: Doing workshops at our customers to analyse their on premises systems and guide them how they can leverage the power of cloud to increase the throughput of their systems and lower the costs. Enabling their current applications to cloud by reusing managed SaaS, PaaS and IaaS. Migrating their loads to public cloud e.g. Amazon Web Services, Azure and Google Cloud Platform. Also I am involved in monitoring the production systems and fixing any issues.

How I got my present job: I was interested in public cloud when I was invited by a Nordcloud employee to work for them. I applied for the job and successfully passed through the interview process.

These studies have been most useful in my work: My degree in Masters in Computer Science from University of the Punjab Pakistan, set my core computer science concepts. Later my Masters in Engineering from TAMK, Finland gave me an international exposure to enterprise level projects.
